The IAMRI Academic Committee is set up to encourage academic exchanges, facilitate all kinds of academic activities among members and ensure the sustainable development of IAMRI.
The main responsibilities of AC are:

overseeing the academic portfolio of the network and advising the SC on strategic direction

evaluating the existing academic activities of Network
-
proposing and developing implementation plans for new initiatives
-
outlining and proposing the theme and requirements for next-year’s academic and educational activities
-
appointing thematic groups/panel as required
-
managing the implementation of academic programs and activities on campus with local coordinator together.
The AC is composed of one marine expert from each member institution and should be convened at least once every year.
